In 2006 DJG Investigative Services received a referral from a Raleigh, NC based insurance company. After an intensive surveillance and investigation DJG obtained surveillance video which depicted a claimant working for a Charlotte NC based landscaping company. DJG on behalf of the carrier referred the case to the NC Dept of Insurance investigations division. They immediately adopted the case for a full scale criminal investigation. Following this time, the CLAIMANT was arrested at his residence and charged with insurance fraud. He was found guilty served jail time and was ordered to pay the carrier back. In addition to this, DJG uncovered evidence that the landscape company was complicit in this case and they as well had to pay money back to the insurance company. DJG was credited with providing the NC DOI with the evidence needed for the arrest and subsequent conviction.
